WHY "RMS QUEEN MARY"

hi !! here this is a silver trophy sup ( 15 cm) (96 grammes).Have you an idea on this cup where it is engraved " RMS QUEEN Mary " 3 juni 1939. A memory of this attractive passenger ship??? thanks and regards

Hi,

As you say, perhaps just a souvenir for a German who stayed on the ship on one of its last peacetime journeys.

Hello

You may already have identified that the cup was assayed in Birmingham in 1938-39. FHA & H was a mark used by F H Adams & Holman.
