Already one year has passed since my last trip to Moscow and still not have learned what I spent my money.
Does anyone know which master these stamps belong?... or if this piece weight of 357 grams is authentic? Who can help me ?
Hi -
according to the visible marks on your object the following is to say:
Townmark Moscow, Assaymaster AA = Anatoli Artsibaschew, on duty 1891-1898 (!), here shown from the year 1893 , silver content 84 Zolotniki =875/1000, maker ИЛ (IL) = Losinskij Iuka Chaimowitsch 1882-1908. The marks look authentic but are faked.
The box is pure phantasy and contemporary = fake. Just see the unprecise engraving, pattern and low quality. Please compare with known authentic objects!
Many thanks !
However the box is ugly and I intend to give as scrap silver to someone who colect for other things for 50eurocents/grams.That's it! It happens! I knew I would not get a authentic object!
