Help with Scandinavian maker's mark please

Post by Madhatterrus »

Hello,

I came across a pendant in what I think is the Skonvirke style, it's hallmarked 830S and also has two other punches that must be maker's or designer's marks.
Could anyone help me to identify the maker please?

Thank you!

Hello.

The DTA mark is for The National Association for Danish Enterprise, an independant organisation created to support and market Danish produced consumer goods in Denmark and abroad.

Hi Pat,

Thank you, that narrows my search, though I'm afraid it's going to be a difficult one, I haven't found the CTC mark on the internet yet.

Thanks Cheryl.

My reference shows Grann & Laglye of Copenhagen active 1906 - 1955.

This is a Grann & Laglye Skonvirke spoon, also with an amber inset, from my collection - in addition to the G&L and Danske Arbedje marks, it also bears the Heise assay-master mark and a 1922 three-tower guarantee mark.
