I have a large spoon, probable made from silver 0,750 in Germany, Flensburg town. The maker name? is unreadable. I've enclosed a few photos, also one negative to make marks seen more precisely. Can anyone please identify the maker and/or age of the attached photos. I know that identifying this spoon will be very hard as too little data is given. A spoon is really very huge, about 36cm/14.17 inches long, and weight 204 gram/6,5 troy oz.
Please see attachment. Thanks for any help.

Hello,
F. Martinsen (first name is unknown), mentioned 1878 in the Flensburg address-book Norderstrasse 462. He is jeweller, retailer and Gold- ans silverworker. He deals with Gold- and silverware, Nickelsilver and plated silver.
Kind regards,
Ringo

Thank you 'Ringo', any hint in that matter is always welcome... As far as I see, S. Martinsen was not known very well in his branch. It's nearly impossible to find anything about him, so I'm very glad that I obtained another piece of information.

Reiner
