Dear Rusei

Atelier Bossard, founded by Johann Balthasar Bossardafter 1830. His son Karl Silvan Bossard (1846 - 1914), in business from 1869 to 1901 raised the atelier to an international recognized manufacturer of silver items. He won with his products a gold medal on the world exhibitions in Paris in 1889 and 1900. The atelier was devoted to historicism, producing items of high quality.
Unfortunatel, the missed often to mark their products as copies of older (16th to 18th century guildt silver) items. The atelier had a bad reputation for selling new items as genuine antiques, or at least selling their (high quality) copies without proper marking as copies.

Congratulation to your piece.

The HP mark in the middle resembles the mark of Hans Peter Oeri from Zürich. Born 1637, master 1672, died 1692. So Bossard imitated marks of earlier periods.
