Help with a late 1700's hallmark

Post by AllanMacDonald »

I have a large silver ladle which is 14" long. The bowl of the spoon measures 4 3/4" by 4 1/4". It weighs aprox. 245 grams. It is monogramed with the date 1799.
The Hallmark looks to have been struch twice, each one showing only half of the mark. Putting them together it seems to read IPD 1769?. It probably is Scandanavian.
Any ideas?

I'm afraid I know nothing of this maker. The image is from Nosrsk Gull og Solvstempler 1500 - 1950. Regards John
