Hello,
I would like to know Hallmark and age of this ring. It appears to be silver.

Do you think it looks anything like a Polish Hallmark?
Personally yes, I can see the letter and number are similar.
I`m no expert but just hope this helps a little

Your ring is not from Poland. The mark is not quite clear but as far as I can see it is made in Riga in the Soviet Republic of Latvia the in the former Soviet Union between 1927-1954. The Greek letter tau indicates that. However, the "tau" could bee seen as Greek pi and that would be Sverdlovsk. But maker's mark is Latin RG, which points more to Riga (Latvia use Latin letters) than Sverdlovsk. The maker "RG" in Riga seems to be unknown...at least to me. Please verify the letter in the mark tau or pi.
