Silver Jigger - Need Help with the Marks

Hi,
Total newbie here, any help is greatly appreciated. This item was found in my grandmother's attic. I believe it is sterling, though the word sterling does not appear on it. I have no idea of age or place of origin.
I am not even certain that it is a jigger, so feel free to correct me if I am wrong. The pattern on the outside is quite ornate - sort of snake/fish looking creatures all the way around.

The diameter is 2 1/4". The overall height is a tiny bit less than 3". I believe the marks on the bottom are clear enough in the photos. But to clarify them:

1) A small triangle in the center
2) The letters "AR" (as best I can read them) in one oval
3) A very ornate "S" (as best as I can read it) in one oval
4) Three tiny castles in one oval with the numbers "01" or perhaps "91" underneath the castles, with a line separating the numbers from the castles.

Lovely piece! It's Danish silver, at least 826/1000 fineness, the three-tower assay mark indicates that it was assayed either in 1891 or 1901 (looks like 91 to me), the entwined "SG" in the oval cartouche is the mark of the assay-master Simon Groth (in office from 1863-1904), the "AR"(?) would be your maker's mark. The design of the piece is Dragestil (dragon style) , very popular in Scandinavia from the late 1800s into the 1920s.

Without pictures it is difficuld to see but no AR exists in that period. Therefore try to post again - I shall see what I can do.
