I have been looking at some items I recently inherited and found what I think is a cut glass cruet set on a silver tray. The tray is marked as seen in these two pictures. Does anyone recognize these marks? I think I know what the "835" is, but what is the "B" in "B 835?" The mark above B835 looks like a kind of clover with the initials "S" & "C" or "C" & "S." If you have seen this before or can tell me where to look, I would appreciate your help!

That is the mark of Spurrier & Co. of Birmingham.
For some information on this firm see William Spurrier at : http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic ... 38&t=14729" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks so very much to dognose for the information I have been looking for. I am going to check into the Spurrier & Co link and see what information about this tray is available. I know it is something my mother treasured and I am interested in its history.
Again, thanks!!
Kathleen
