dear sir:
i get a tea strainer,there are 3 marks ,"M:NIELSEN""1873""13 1/4" .I find "m.nielsen" is danish 1906-1937,and "13 1/4" is danish 0.826(1893-1972), ????. please help me .thanks

I think your tea strainer is norwegian and it is Mons Nielsen in Oslo that has made it. He was born 1826, started up in 1864 and died in 1890.

I am on a business trip, but when I am back in a fortnigth I will send you some information about Mons Nielsen.
About norwegian silver marks you have a book "Norske Gull- og Sølvstempler 1500-1950". Look at
