L&S ?

Post by dinglut »

Could you help me identify this hall mark? It should be easy as it is a recent (1969) piece of silver, but the books / net do not help.
I apologise for hugely wobbly shot of hallmark - only realised this after it was impossible to retake the photo.
Here go the pics:

Thank you!

Hi there,
I have been back and taken a better shot - without the camera shake.
Anyone know who the maker is?
thanks

Dear OEL and all,

Thank you for the email address. They gave a very rapid response:
Langman & Strongitharm Ltd.

I have found more plausible results online from "Longman & Strongitharm" however, even though they appear to specialise more in cutlery and old swords than this beautiful horse and soldier. But the military link between swords and dragoons is there I guess.

Thank you for your help
