Sorry about the link, it was the only way I found to put picture on,
Full size picture would not help, item is scrap of silver, probably a band off something, now flattened
measures 1/2" x 2" (13mm x 50mm)
just trying to identify the hallmarks

Hello,
You state "Full size picture would not help", You sound very sure, so it sounds like you have already done much searching with no avail. The positioning and orientation on band marks can sometimes give a clue to the trade of source, stick/cane makers, umbrella/parasol makers, pipemakers, cutlery ferule makers, etc. but presumably not in this case.
