Hi all: I have had this for about a year but have not had any luck with history or age. Cannot find Geo. A. Harmon listed anywhere. Anyone familiar with the maker? I assume it is an early American piece.

George Albert Harmon is listed in Portland, Maine census's and directories as a jeweler and watchmaker from at least 1860 through 1910 .
