Dear friends,

Could you please help me to identify whether its an Indian made box or not? If possible year when it was made.

Thank you!

Regards

Hi, dear sirs.

I have some item with some mark. But my item bears the additional mark. Tell me please what of these stamps is mark of the silversmith, what is the hallmark. And what is pure silver? Thank you.

When I look at the hair style of figures on the side of the silver, it seems very clear to me that it is most likely to be from or Burma or Thailand. Please see Vidya Dahejia's Book, Delight in Design, Indian Silver for the Raj, pg. 200-211.

Have to concur with the above.
this looks Burmese or Thai to me. I would lean towards Burmese.
