

I realize that you won't be able to see the hallmarks, but they say Ly & Co, followed by the lion passant, Edinburgh towers, and either O or Q for a date which would be 1988 or 1990. According to another website which gives UK makers, there was a Liberty & Co in Edinburgh from 1987 to 1991 (the link for this page is http://www.silvermakersmarks.co.uk/Make ... LP.html#LY
This pin is in the arts & crafts tradition of Liberty & Co, and this might have been made for them by a Malcolm Grey or a Pat Cheney, or this might be a fake. At any rate, I would really appreciate comments and opinions on this piece and on the hallmarks and the possibility that Liberty & Co was briefly in Scotland. Thank you.
