Swiss cup. Who is maker?

Post by Ubaranda »

Hi all!
Recently I bought very big cup, made probably in Switzerland. On checking the metal reacts as a silver, but the marka on the cup I don't know. Maybe it's silverplated? And maybe somebody knows what is "ORNIS"?
Will be grateful for any help.

Hi Ubaranda

Ornis means it has a relation to birds. So most probably the first Price of a Birds Club in Geneva.

No solution yet for the mark, but for me it Looks very silverplated.

Kind regards

Hi Joerg!
Interesting idea about the birds! I'll try to look in that direction.
Best regards. Alex.
