This is a piece i have owned for some years and I love it . The top only has Swedish import marks stamped very very tiny while the base has the marks shown in the pic . This piece is marked with what looks like a shield with a crown at the top and a diagonal line through the shield while the other mark looks to be a round ( pointy ended vase with a crown at the top . The 3rd mark is 830 . This piece is cast silver and all who have seen it date it to the 1700s . Any help with mark id would be much appreciated . thanks

Hello Justin welcome to the forum,
Perhaps made in Germany Hanau style; pseudo marks in combination with a numeral fineness mark, late 19th century to early 20th century.

Hi Oel , thanks for the welcome and the info is great . You have given me more leads to follow up . Certainly the possibility that it is an later made piece than we thought is very possible given the info you have provided . An open mind always leads to more discoveries . thanks again Jstn
