Sorry, I am new to this site, please can you help me identify is that horse shoe inkwell sterling silver or it silverplated?
I fond that it was made in Sheffield by Roberts & Belk, but cant find if its sterling silver or silverplated?
Please, can you have a look for me

It's plated. The mark before the plume of feathers comprises the letters "EP" (electroplate).

As with most electroplate it is very difficult to be at all accurate with dates. My suggestion would be early 20th century.
