Sorry, but I am not good in hallmarks.
I have this fish knife, can someone please clear up the date for me on this and is this silver?

This mark is tentatively attributed to Joseph Mappin by the silvercollection.it web site. Whether it is or not the mark has the appearance of being an electroplate mark - it is certainly not a British hallmark for solid silver. It would be difficult to be much more specific than late 19th century for the date.
