Age and Maker of French Beaker or Wine Cup

Post by Peach »

Good Afternoon,

I recently acquired this wine cup (or at least that is what I think it is) with the words 'dela Relle' (can anyone translate?) engraved on it along with garlands of fruit. It is marked under the lip of the cup with the Minerva head for 950 silver, and on the base has a triangular stamp with 'D & Cie' around a goblet, and a star at the base of the triangle. I have researched on this site for the maker but have not had any luck. The cup measures 7 cm in height and 7 cm in diameter at the opening. Thank you for your help.

The maker's mark belongs to the master silversmith Dubois & Cie

N° de garantie : 6347
N° de préfecture : 6530
Symbol : a goblet over a star
Actif from 16 September 1857 until 12 November 1866
Kind regards
