help to identify sterling ring with HB hallmark

Can someone identify this "HB" hallmark? It also has "925"

Unfortunately I do not have an answer and am searching myself. Your ring is the first that I have seen that matches the hallmark on my silver solitaire exactly. It was passed down in my family which is originally from Germany, but I have had no luck searching there. Let me know if you have any luck identifying it. I will do the same.

Hi, I have a silver solitaire with exactly the same mark. Did either of you have any success in finding out anything about it? My ring was passed to me from a distant relation, and we've been trying to find out about it without any success. Also trying to ring out about the stone, looks like diamond, but one diamond tester said yes, another said no, so we are still on that search too. Any help in find out who made it and approx date would be gratefully received.
