SILVER TOPPED GLASS BOTTLE PLEASE HELP

Post by niceguy1 »

HELLO ALL

I'm new to this forum, can anybody please help me with this antique silver topped glass bottle?

The first mark is a capital G topped with a crown the other 2 I don't know how to describe.

the mark is repeated on the bottom silver rim. the bottle is engraved with a floral design.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

That look like the marks of Wolf & Knell of Hanau.

See: http://www.925-1000.com/Fgerman_hanau_marks_01.html

Nice looking piece. How large is it?

Trev.

Thanks a lot for your quick response.

According to that entry this bottle would seem to date from around 1887-1910
