Candlestick from germany?

This is a candlestick obtained in germany in the second word war. Its origines are unknown. Can someone tell me more About this silver piece?

Your candlestick carries a British registry lozenge for more info see:

(Material metal, made June 10th in the year 1862)
I believe it to be silver plated and a better image of the maker's mark may reveal more.

That's one of the marks used by Thomas Bradbury & Sons of Sheffield.

The date on the Registry mark gives the earliest possible date of manufacture, but the item may have been made some years later.

The use of the crown mark on plated wares was outlawed in 1896.

Now is there any way to find out of its plated or not?
