Hi again.
these two salt spoons have JK marks stamped twice {quite rubbed}. They look like the mark for Joseph Kinselagh to me but in the absence of any 'ster' or 'sterling' mark, I'm not 100% percent sure. Does all Cork provincial silver have the 'sterling' mark? Thanking you in advance for any info.
Best wishes, Jo.
Are these Joseph Kinselagh spoons?
Re: Are these Joseph Kinselagh spoons?
Hi Jo,
I think these are English, Samuel Key (Grimwade 2566).
I'll move the post to the London section to get the thoughts of others.

Re: Are these Joseph Kinselagh spoons?
Hi Trev,
yes, I see now that the first letter could be an S - that hadn't occured to me, I could only see J initially. Also I had always thought that the lion passant would be present on English silver - learning slowly but surely!
Thank you for your response!
Best wishes, Jo.

Hi Jo,
I have a pair of table spoons by Joseph Kinselagh, which I posted about in the link below, so check your maker's mark against the photo there.
