Robert Jones Teaspoon?

Hello all,
I have this teaspoon




I have found a mark that looks very similar on two other silver sites attributed to Robert Jones of York Circa 1790. The lion passant would fit in with this but the duty mark looks later. Anybody have any opinion on the attribution? Also if we think it is him does anybody have any information on him?

I think it's more likely to be an Exeter mark, possibly Richard Jenkins, who was known to be active at the end of the 18th century (first mentioned in Exeter records 1764, died 1807).

Most definitely Richard Jenkins, and c.1800. As well as a silversmith, he was Mayor of Exeter in 1787 and 1800.

Thanks Miles and Silvermakersmarks mystery solved! Didn't think the duty mark looked right! Richard Jenkins sounds like a busy man! If anyone does have any examples of the work of Robert Jones I would still love to see them!
