Set of chargers(plates) can be viewed here:

They have a standard pepper rim decorations and an old portugese hallmarks.
What does puzzle me is the armorial on the rim,
which does not appear to be european in origin.
Could it be that the deposed Emperor of Brasil,
Pedro the II or one of his relations, having fallen
upon the straightened circumstances,
has flogged those chargers onto the London market?
Does anybody recognise the Coat of Arms?
Any help keenly anticipated.

Imperial Brazilian Connection?
Hello fatso, Stop! Stoopp! Stoooppp!
Yours «Imperial» phantasm is really missing every reality!
Yes!
I haven’t more than a basic knowledge in Heraldry — in cases of Heraldry it’s better to ask their experts!
But I will place here for you an exceptional crimson carpet:
Yours «old Portuguese hallmark» is Lisbon’s eagle «916» silver alloy hallmark from 1938 to 1984!
Maker is «David & Pinto Lda.» in Lisbon area. Maker’s mark is that little one — contour is like bread’s cross section: left side a very slim and tall capital letter D = David; on right side a double shelf with base and knots in between. Maker’s mark was registered 1953; period of time = 31 years (1953 reg., 1984 Lisbon's eagle «916» hallmark ended).
Third mark «º TITULO» signification is «The Title».
Phone them in yours best Portuguese Monday to Friday in WEST (West European Summer Time) office hours: ++351 214 971 015
They would maybe tell you — if it’s not their client’s secret? — something related to shown armorial.
Send them too yours questions and photos or files — but I don’t know if they would answer. I don't know either their e-mail-address.
Maker’s address:
David & Pinto Lda.
Amadora — Damaia
Rua Carvalho Araújo 53-C
2720-083 Amadora / Portugal
Kind regards silverport
P.S. Dom Pedro II was born 02.12.1825 and died old 66 years on 05.12.1891.

Re: Coat of Arms: Imperial Brasilian connection?
Hi,
This coat of arms is a portuguese one. In fact it is of Chermont, a french family who went to Portugal in 1775 and was granted arms (the french ones) in 1780 by the King of Portugal.
Best Regards,
Marcondes
