Charles Kay (Grimwade p.567) signed to be his apprentice in 1793.
The Will of Thomas Phipps, Goldsmith late of Gutter Lane, Cheapside, London, was proved for probate on 7th May 1824 (National Archives reference PROB 11/1686/57).
