Can anyone IDENTIFY MARKINGS on this antique compact??

I have this antique compact that im trying to find out the maker and the manufacturers date. Im 24 years old so I have net to no experience with this and would greatly appreciate the help. I couldn't get the pictures smaller to put directly into the post.

Hi welcome to the forum, great pictures.

German compact; sterling, crecsent moon & crown for Germany, LK in script letters for; Louis Kuppenheim, Pforzheim, active ca: 1900-1940.
