I have serving spoons with the mark the first type.
These spoons - a small part of a wedding gift to Count Antoine Le Bègue de Germiny (1840-1918) and Countess Cécile Le Roy de Valanglart (1850-1886), whose wedding was held April 16, 1872. Thus with high probability we can say that in 1872 the first type of mark was used.
Also, I have nice glass with the second type of mark.
I wonder when this type of mark was used - earlier or later?

The first mark, later, belongs to Eugène Queillé, 1847-1895, (Lapparra Antoine, 1895-1902, Succ.), PQ, une rame antique, 8 Petite rue Saint-Roch-Poissonière, Paris.
Eugène had a first mark with letters EP he nether use. He worked with à second mark with letters PQ, with his << rame antique >>, different of his father's rame antique.
The second one, earlier, belongs to Pierre Francois II Queillé, his father and predecessor,1834-1846, (Queillé Eugène, 1847-1895, Succ.), PQ,une rame antique, 70 Rue du faubourg-Montmarte, Paris.
Note that the great father of Eugène was Queillé Pierre-François I, 1808-1834, (Queillé Pierre-François II, 1834-1846, Succ.), PQ, un casque traversé d'une flèche, un point en haut, un autre en bas, 151 rue Saint-Martin, puis 5 rue Feydeau (1811), Paris.
PQ were family sign letters!
