Alpacca spoon German initials? help

Hi, have inherited some flatware, probably of no value, but some pieces look interesting, I know nothing about silverware, please could someone help, if possible.

this spoon is 6" long with what looks like the letters/ initials m over g, is this a German spoon?

ALPACCA is German silverplate.
