Re: Help me please, need to find who maker is ASAP!
Your picture is not very clear at all. It looks like it could be British, with a mark of G&H, followed by a lion passant, unclear city mark, unclear date mark. You need to post a better picture, set your camera to macro function and put a loope over the lens and take a good close up of the marks.
Re: Help me please, need to find who maker is ASAP!
Hi sorry about the picture I only have my phones camera, yes the makers mark is G&H but can't find anyone with that mark, and the date letter is an 's' that is slightly slanted. I will try get a clearer picture or borrow a camera from somewhere and try get a better pic. Thanks for your reply

New pics, as best as I can get
Re: Maker identification! Please help
The reply I got from the assay office:
Good Afternoon
I have puzzled over the pictures that you have sent of the hallmarks that you want identified.
I believe that this is the mark of Groom and Nicholson who first registered with us in 1978. The other marks are a lion passant for sterling silver, and I believe this is the leopard's head for the London Assay Office, and the date letter for 1992.
As you said one of the marks is very difficult to identify and the whole identification has to be made around that mark - the Assay Office mark.
I hope this helps.

Does anyone have a link to any information on this maker please?
