Info on Towle "Chased Diana"?

Hi, I am new to this forum. I just identified my grandmother's silver, Chased Diana pattern 1928 by Towle Silversmiths. Your online encyclopedia was so useful - I shouted when I found what was evidently a T with a lion inside. I have been researching but haven't found much info on the pattern, why it was called Chased Diana, etc., other than it is out of production now and was designed by Harold E. Nock. I searched for info on Nock, to almost no avail. Any information/resources would be much appreciated.
