German? Swiss? tea spoons, unknow marker PG

Post by Joerg »

Dear forum members

can you help me identify this set of six tea spoons? The spoons are marked with "PG". I assume this to be the maker mark. They are 12 grams each. They have a monogram E * B which is stamped, not engraved. I would date them after 1850, probably 1850 - 1870. However, spoons from this period should bear a fineness mark, "12" or "13" loth. Any idea, wild guess is welcome.

Kind regards

Jörg
