Bolivian silver?

Post by mxdeb »

I have 2 large dinner forks marked Bolivian silver and have the makers mark WP&Co
I can't seem to find any info on them and don't know if they are plated ( they don't look it) or if they are sterling. They are not marked as to silver content. Any info greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Two of my books have the trademark Bolivian Silver as a silverplate mark for William Page & Company, Birmingham, England.

Thanks,
the makers mark matches that on the forks and i did suspect Willam page but I am amazed at the lack of pieces marked Bolivina Silver that I can find on the web.
Thanks, by the way did it give you an approximate date of manufacture.
again.

You are welcome.
Sorry, no dates were given for the Bolivian Silver trademark.
