i have a few soons and bits that are silverplated i keep reading up and am ok with makers and such but was wondering if there is any way to date silverplate with the marks or do you just have to go by the style of a peice i have seen some makers have various marks wich i assume will have been used at different times and wondered if they can be looked up any where thanks for any help the pics are of a small egg/sugar spoon measuring 8.6cm long and 1.8cm across the bowl the makers mark indicates William Page Birmingham if this can be dated please can you tell me how you go about it
