This flask I recently purchased has an extra mark of the Kings head and I was to believe they went out in the 1890,s Can anyone help please?

There was an optional sovereign mark used by assay offices for 1933/4 & 1934/5 to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of George V & Queen Mary; the mark actually contains profiles of both.
Your flask top was assayed in Sheffield in 1934/5. The makers appear to be James Dixon & Sons.
