Hi Neruda, Many thanks. Could you please give me some book references for maker's marks because I have a collection of more than 400 silver inkwells and dip pen to search !
Regarding Napper and Davenport, do you have more info ?
Thanking you in advance for your reply.
Best Regards. Myriam

Hi frenchie_myriam
You asked "Regarding Napper and Davenport, do you have more info ?"
Thomas Napper of Napper and Davenport was my grandfather. In addittion to silver they also worked with pewter and Mother of Pearl inlays. I am constantly searching the web for examples of his work but have only come up with a very modern looking square teapot. I know that he produced a range of dressing table brushes and hand mirrors but am still looking for images.
Regards
Tony
