Cigar Box identification

I believe this is a Gorham. I am sending a copy of the main stamp, but there is also an F in the lower right corner. What do the B and S and E stand for? Is this 1873 Gorham or different?

Could the stamp be B S "F" instead of an "E"? Gorham had a retail store that merged with Black, Starr and Frost in 1929 in New York. It would not be unusual to put both marks on.
