Hello
This napkin ring is made by Hroar Prydz 1859-1937, in work 1891-ca. 1980 in Oslo, Norway. It is made in ca. 1910-20 I think.

Thank you Tosten! Usually associate Prydz with mid 20th century enamel jewelry, etc. Didn't realize that his firm was founded so early - nice to know.

Hello again
A little bit more.
Hroar Prydz was not a silversmith. First he was a salesman by H.C.Østrem in Oslo (from 1877), and then he started as a merchant in 1891. He had small workshops working for him. Later on he started his own workshop with thimbles, pockerknives, napking rings, bookmarks etc., and a small part of enamel jewellery.
Hans Myhre (he was not a silversmith) bought in 1838 and then as you say the firm growe large in enamel jewellery and spoons.
