the pattern, explicaton in the price list from Jezler
The filigree pattern originated in France and ca. 1840 was integrated in the Jezler collection under the name FILET FRANCAIS.
Its characteristics, the spatula form and the hand-engraved filet, make this model the classic of all classics? Even today, it belongs to the leading cutlery models, since the timeless shape and a true-to-style design (Louis XV)can be integrated in any interior decoration, and gives the noble touch of "Vieille France" to the art of eating.
In 1822 Johann Jacob Jezler founded the silver manufacturing company

Thanks for the information. What do you mean by the "hand engraved filet"?
