need help with maker's mark

Post by joyluck »

I have been trying to identify the maker of this small vinaigrette, but the marks are very difficult for me to see as they are worn. I was able to photograph said mark through a magnifying glass, with less than perfect results, but I hope that someone with a keen eye and knowledge beyond mine, (novice), can provide some help. This is my first post to this forum, hope it's okay and thanks!Image Image

Checking on this post I see that it is being viewed, yet no responses. One bit of info that I neglected to include - it was suggested that the maker was Thomas Perry. I will also post one more photo. ThanksImage

"T&P" looks like it might be Joseph Taylor & John Perry, whose work was assayed in Birmingham approx 1825 to 1850.
This said I am not at all sure of the other marks, is the first a duty mark and the second a lion passant?
