I bought this helmet-shaped Belgian cream jug months ago. According to the hall marks it is made in the period 1831-1868. The letter in the helmet of Minerva is rubbed and the question is who is the maker "V" with perhaps a pepper fruit?
I would be very grateful for the answer.
