? spoon marked 1795, C with crown, P95, IS 8Z, waves, LFS ??
Hello, I have a spoon marked with 4 ovals, with what looks like: (#1) a C with a crown above it, (#2) P 95, (#3) IS 8Z, and (#4) 2 zigzag lines. Also tapped in by hand are dots to make the initials LFS and the date 1795. There are also some freestyle curvy lines on the back of the spoon (at the handle's top and at the base of the bowl.) The spoon is a bit pliable or soft, and seems to be made of solid something, rather than plated; probably silver, maybe lead, pewter?? Any idea anyone? Sorry no photo yet.

The crown is over a C, with a tiny tiny V below the C on the lower left side. The crown is a simple one: a straight baseline with five curved lines running up to the dimpled top. The C is twice as big as the crown. The freestyle lines don't appear to be testing marks.... they are very symmetrical and swoopy, like waves, or even clouds, and there are several of them. When I looked through the styles of marks on this website, these appeared to be more like British, or even American. Sorry my camera won't cooperate.
