Some help needed on marks

Hi all, I,ve just joined.
I have an item with unknown marks, it is a rectangular sugar box with only a single mark on the bottom and a tiny mark on top.
Not even sure if it is a mark.

I have searched plenty of books and your (excellent) site, but no luck. I was hoping that someone might have an idea.
