Above are marks and picture of our silver pot.
Can anyone help on origin and date please??
The marks read....
IBB; 2; lion (?) with 1709 in clockwise in corners; and a symbol, 925, t in italics. So 4 marks altogether, one is three marks in one.

The marks on the bottom are British import marks http://www.925-1000.com/importmarks.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

A larger image of the marks would be a great help.

thank you. So it would be London by that symbol.
I assume IBB would be manufacture? And the date stamp (the lion with numbers in each corner) if read clockwise would be 1907. Sounds okay by the link you gave me.
Guess just unknown country, but thank you again.

Guess just unknown country
There is no reason to assume so, but an identification is not possible without a larger image of the marks.
