Unusual Gorham Pattern?

Post by mdhavey »

I haven't been able to find this Gorham pattern in any pattern book. Back has the old lion, anchor, G. Thoughts?

I've only run across this Passion-flower design in a souvenir-type spoon with a baby's face breaking through an eggshell. Mine is gold-washed, enameled and engraved "1902", marked as part of the H-series, an indication that it was not part of a named line-pattern and produced 1898 or later. Is yours a teaspoon or some other piece?
