Belt buckle and linked belt, Native American
I am happy to have found this forum! This silver belt came from my mother's collection. She worked at a silver shop in Carmel, CA and happily spent her salary on items that were sold there during the early 1970s. Most of her pieces are obviously Zuni, Hopi, and Navajo, but this one has me perplexed. Only the buckle has stamps, and I have enclosed the best photo I can get. She never wore it, so the wearing came from from someone else. It is stamped SILVER, and in the middle you can see a star and one other stamp that you might be able to I.D. The stamp on top is very worn...
None of the links have stamps on them. They are obviously hand-wrought. Magnet doesn't lift them so they are silver or some other material. The belt is about 32 inches long and weighs 6-7 oz.
Thank you for any information, or for pointing me to the correct forum if you know this is not Native American!-

I'm pretty sure this isn't Native American, most items like this marked silver are Asian.
