Post by okeydokey »

hi: small at 3 3/4 x 2 x 1 inch / touch marks are somewhat worn. bell or hive and duck or goose / horse head / chess pawn? letters "sterling" look like individually stamped. quality is very good so this silversmith should be known but my knowledge is limited and internet searching no help so I have been unable to id or answer if American or european? any suggestions? thanks.okeydokey Image Image

Hi,
The sterling mark appears to be a later addition. In the red circled area, is that copper showing where silverplate has worn off?

hi: thanks for the response but defiantly not silver plate. It was the bad light when I shot photos so the copper color is from glare only.
