Taxco Sterling Mark TSL

I have a necklace with alternating rectangular sterling bars and inlaid with abalone, in the center of each bar there is also a circle of sterling, the abalone is on either side of the circle. On the back is a small circle with Taxco 925, Mexico and the initials TSL. I know the T stands for Taxco but am wondering if anyone knows what the SL might be.

It is very beautiful and wish I could show a picture but my camera is not working at the moment.
