Need Help with ID for Buckle & Button Set-Sterling

Post by kad446 »

Hello! I have a Sterling Silver Buckle & Button set. The hallmark is on the buckle only; the buttons are only marked Sterling. I am unable to find the maker and manufacturing date. Could someone please help me out? Thank you so much and God bless!

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

You don't mention the details that you have found out, but I should say that this set was made by Levi & Salaman and likely to have been assayed at Birmingham in 1912.

See: http://www.925-1000.com/dlBirmingham5.html#M" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I did find out that it was Levi & Salaman, but I did not have the date. Thank you so much for your response! God bless - Karen
